• Q: Aren't fashion stylists for celebrities and rich people?
  A: There are lots of stylists that make a living helping the celebrities and the wealthy. I on the other hand, work with clients who have a budget and want to get the most out of their wardrobe. I'll show you ways to refine your personal style with pieces that work for your body style and lifestyle, all within your budget. You don't have to be a celebrity to hire a fashion stylist but working with Your Everyday Stylist might just make you feel like one.
• Q: I already love shopping why would I hire a fashion stylist?
  A: If you love to shop than you'd love shopping with Your Everyday Stylist even more! Think of it as VIP shopping. All the work has already been done. The stores are pre-shopped so you just have a blast in the change rooms going Yes-Yes-Yes-No-Yes! Think of it this way, you probably know how to put on our own nail polish but isn't it nice to treat yourself to a mani-pedi from time to time? This is like a mani-pedi for your wardrobe: you and your wardrobe get a little pampering and you'll totally feel your look is "polished" after.
• Q: Is 2 hours enough time to go shopping?
  A: We will accomplish the same as a weekend of shopping in those 2 hours. A little goes a long way! Because the stores have been pre-shopped that time is spend in the dressing rooms not scoping the floor. It's super-efficient shopping at its best.
• Q: I already have my shopping buddy why would I hire a fashion stylist?
  A: A fashion buddy is great and highly recommended. A fashion stylist can provide a fresh new perspective that is totally objective. My goal is to make you look and feel great! Shopping with a stylist means it's all about YOU. We go to YOUR stores and YOU do all the trying on. If it doesn't fit I get you a different size. You'll be the centre of attention the entire time.
• Q: Why should I hire a fashion stylist when the sales associates are paid to help me?
  A: If you have a great sales associate to help you shop that's fantastic (and sadly rare) but you may not have one for all your stores. Remember even if that store isn't commission-based the staff is pressured to sell, sell, sell... so you need to be sure their compliments are genuine and not just for you to make the purchase. The good thing about shopping with me is I don't have commitments to the stores so if you don't like the choices you have no pressure to buy and we aren't limited to just one store.
• Q: How can spending money to hire a fashion stylist save me money?

• Q: How often do I need to hire a fashion stylist?
  A: For a Closet Makeover I recommend twice a year. Once when your closet is full of your fall and winter-wear and again in the spring/summer. Most of us don't have a big enough closet to have it all out all year round so this works the best and can usually get done in as little as 2 hours. The other good thing about doing it bi-annually is you're sorting the clothes for the season you're in so you don't have to try on heavy coats in the dead of summer. Doing Assisted Shopping seasonally is a good rule of thumb: spring, summer fall and winter. Stores have new collections come out every season and I'd be happy to help you find the looks that are right for you and your needs.
